NIGERIAN couple based in Pretoria Abiodun Salami and his wife, Omowunmi, celebrated a decade of marriage in September and, to make the milestone an even more special occasion, they also renewed their wedding vows.

The couple tied the knot at a church service at The Prayer Stronghold International Ministries on the West of Pretoria Gauteng on September 19, 2015 in a colorful and spectacular manner.

“We did not want to have a big conventional wedding, so we opted to renew our vows at our church with just a few people; family, friends and well-wishers,” Mr Salami told our reporter.

Mr. Salami, a dedicated Christian and consummate businessman of repute within the Nigerian community, said it was Omowunmi’s “directness, confidence and truthfulness” that stole his heart ten (10) years ago.

“It was love at first sight,” Mr. Salami said.

Happy Mr. Salami made the day truly special for his wife and four (4) children with a special Limousine drive to the venue of the event amidst plenty to eat and drink for everyone present.
“I still cannot believe it has been that long; it still feels as though it was yesterday.”
“It was quite special, a fitting way to celebrate such a milestone,” Omowunmi said.

The couple, who are now in their late 30s to early 40’s, are responsible parents to lovely children.
“The 10 years has taught me there is nothing wrong when a couple agree to disagree, it makes one understand each other perfectly,” Omowunmii said

Their special anniversary celebration was attended by well over 200 close family members, well-wishers and friends.
