Mr. Uche Okafor; An Outstanding Diplomat Retires from Service

Not all diplomats are worth celebration. Some bring pain and hardship to their community, but Mr. Uche Okakor is a diplomat in a class of his own. A dedicated, diligent and religious fellow who goes out of his way to make sure things are done.

Mr. Okafor until his retirement from service was the senior Consul-In Charge of Trade and Investment at the Nigerian Consulate Office in Sandton Johannesburg.

Mr. Okafor’s was a father to a lot of Nigerians at the  consulate, he will be greatly missed by so many of his colleagues and members of the Nigerian Community.

He is a man who believes so much in Nigeria and stood his ground with regards issues concerning Nigeria and Nigerians.

A man who stands for justice and never gets involves in office politics. A upright man who never believes in ethnicity division, no matter where one comes from he sees all as his friends, colleagues and children. He ran an open door policy to all.

The Nigerian Voice newspaper wish Mr. Okafor well in future endeavors. He will be greatly missed with regards the support and trust he gave to us at The Nigerian Voice Newspaper. We pray that his purpose in life after service will be greatly achieved.

The Nigerian Community in South Africa will surely miss Mr Okafor.
